As a christian home, regular devotions and services are held. Morning devotions are held in the lounge each day, and a service is held on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.
The Manor House is your home and nowhere will this be more obvious than in your room. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items such as pictures, photos and small pieces of furniture to maintain their individual personality.
A large lounge, together with dining room, and a smaller sitting room with television facility, provide the communal accommodation on the ground floor. The Manor House encourages its residents to maintain as independent lifestyle as possible.
The accommodation at The Manor House is comprised of 12 single bedrooms and 2 shared rooms on both ground and first floor. Each room has its own washing facilities and shares the use of bathrooms and toilets, except for one single room which has en-suite facilities.
A chair lift and stair lift provide access to the first floor. In the interests of health and safety for our residents The Manor House operates a NO SMOKING policy. A regular hairdressing and chiropodist service is provided, not inclusive in our fees, where residents are able to relax and be pampered.
The weekly fee is £515 per week for 52 weeks plus one day. However, for residents funded by Suffolk Social Services there is a shortfall in excess of £153 per week, which is required in the form of a top-up from the resident or their family. Our fee including top-up then covers the provision of all care and activities. |
